The mission
Selling the Caravelo Travel Subscription platform to all airlines around the world and fundamentally transform the way they have sold plane tickets and interacted with passengers until now. Join a small high output Sales team to consolidate the transition from early adoption stage into market leader of a consolidated category within 2-3 years. Acting as an individual contributor, execute sales in line with existing playbook but also contribute to its perfectioning based on market feedback (suggest playbook enhancements, share best practices, generate synergies within the team and the company, etc.). Team up with the existing Sales team in place and generate positive team dynamics to ensure constant improvement in sales efficiency, ultimately delivering consistent commercial traction in line with budget expectations.
Duties and responsibilities
  • Identifying and closing new business opportunities with key enterprise customers, with a focus on large, strategic accounts in the airline industry.
  • Developing and executing a sales strategy for new business development, including identifying and targeting key decision-makers at potential enterprise customers.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers at enterprise customers, acting as a trusted advisor to help customers solve business problems and drive revenue growth.
  • Managing the entire sales process, from initial contact to close, including developing and delivering compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations, negotiating contracts and pricing, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to develop and execute go-to-market strategies and account plans that drive revenue growth.
  • Achieving or exceeding revenue targets, and providing regular updates on pipeline, forecast, and closed deals to the senior management team.
  • Act as a key member of the sales team that will be critical to the success of Caravelo in 2023 and beyond.
  • Building and managing relationships with key partners to help drive new business opportunities.
  • Continuously monitoring and analyzing industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Being comfortable meeting with C-level executives face-to-face and be able to convey the company's value proposition with the right pitch.
Required skills and experience

  • You have a minimum of 5 years of on-quota, B2B SaaS applications sales experience with a
  • minimum deal size of 150-200K ARR for the first year
  • You are experienced in being part of numerous complex and consultative sales
  • engagements, being proactive in leveraging the market potential in finding new opportunities.
  • You are skilled at negotiating business terms with line-of-business, senior management
  • executives.
  • Your history shows consistent quota over-achievement in highly competitive markets.
  • You know how to work in a rapidly expanding and changing environment
  • You have international experience (we highly value a global view)
  • You're a great team worker, with good verbal and written communication (fluent English is a
  • must, other languages are a good plus).
  • You have world-class presentation skills and the ability to effectively articulate our value
