We are a fast-growing B2B SaaS company serving enterprise customers. As part of our commitment to seamless customer onboarding and implementation, we have created a new Professional Services Engineering Team within our Customer Ops unit. This team ensures that clients transition smoothly from contract signing to go-live, handling custom integrations, migrations, and technical onboarding.

We’re looking for a mid-level Backend-End Engineer to join our Professional Services team. This role is perfect for someone with a consultancy or project-driven background who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. You will be responsible for building and optimizing custom integrations, automation, and enhancements that ensure a seamless client onboarding experience.

Duties and responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize back-end services in Java, ensuring smooth integrations with enterprise client systems.
Implement custom API connections and data migration pipelines based on client needs.
Work closely with the front-end developer and project managers to ensure end-to-end technical implementation.
Assist in troubleshooting and debugging during client onboarding and go-live periods.
Support the automation of repeatable onboarding tasks to reduce implementation time.
Ensure that project timelines are met, keeping deviations minimal while delivering high-quality work.

Required skills and experience

3+ years of experience in back-end development with Java.
Background in consultancy, system integration, or project-based development is highly preferred.
Experience working with RESTful APIs, database design, and performance optimization.
Familiarity with enterprise software integration, authentication (OAuth, SAML), and data migration.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Excellent communication skills to interact with enterprise clients and internal teams.
Willingness to travel occasionally for go-live support.
